An uneven book saved by strong characters

Little fires everywhere is definitely the perfect title for this book. Though this is a slow-paced book, this perfect balance between character and plot makes it also the perfect book to read in one sitting. I regretted that some parts of the book felt too long and pointless, but still enjoyed the story as a whole and have found myself thinking a lot about this book since I read it.
